New Corian Top and Mosaic backsplash

Finally made new counter tops. The original top overlaped the edges of the cook top so when you were cooking the heat couldn't escape from under the pot or pan you were using without cooking the Corian edges. So I made a recessed area held the edges back a couple inches from the cook top, now the heat can escape around the pot or pan without heating the Corian up to much. Also coved the recessed area so it can be easily wiped. Added a small bumpout on the end closest to the window for a little more counter space and a mosaic tile backsplash, put new carpets in and done before the season hit! Beer thirty is here!

That is really beautiful, was it hard to do the edges? The backslash sets it off nicely.

Thanks for the compliments, to answer your ? Bob, it's not hard to do the edges, it's a large router bit, do it in a few passes and don't let the router tilt at all. After that alot of sanding, but it isn't hard.

What did you glue up the edges with before routing?

Dupont makes adhesive just for Corian for fabrication, you have to be a fabricator to purchase it from one of their distributors.

Well! That's just rude of them!

All seriousness aside, thanks for the answer.
