I used Pergo LVP from Lowes when I did my coach in 2021. I did a bunch of research and at that time most people were using LVP. My wife has dogs so we wanted something that was water resistant and durable. We've been very pleased with the choice.

I did the work myself, I had a soft spot behind passenger seat so had to tear up the flooring I left the ceramic tile in the kitchen bath area but put LVP on the rest including the slides, engine hatch and bedbox to give it a finished look. Here is a thread I did, might help you as you move forward if you are doing it yourself https://www.irv2.com/forums/f115/new...ks-564571.html

There are Pro's and Con's to any product. Do your research and then make the decision.

Why would the "floor place" tell you not to use luxury vinyl? It doesn't make sense to me. I was in the flooring business including installation for more than 20 years. Chuck

I agree. I have luxury vinyl in my home and business. It's bullet proof. I would think it would be perfect for a RV. Curious what their reasons are for saying not in a RV.

Maybe they are afraid the slide rollers will scratch the vinyl plank?

Talk to MS RV Solutions outside Red Bay. They do vinyl replacements on a regular basis. Also look at Precision RV in the same area. They have an active YouTube channel where they talk about all kinds of RV-related updates and maintenance. I think they have done some on vinyl plank. Newer Tiffins all have ceramic tile in the main part of the rig with carpet on slides and in the bedroom. Pulling out the tile is a huge job, so I assume you just mean the bedroom and slides.
