We had ladybug infestations for several years but when the Asian stink bug showed up in swarms three years ago, the lady bugs vanished. I hated the lady bugs but I miss them now.

We live in the mountains of Virginia and as soon as the weather turns they start to swarm the house. If it warms up to the high 70s they start to swarm again. We hope the temp stays down this week. They smell like rotten cilantro.

The good news is that if you store your RV in a fairly hot climate for a few weeks, the heat will kill any infestation. Just vacuum up the dried-up bodies, dump the vacuum, and get on with a stink-free life.

At least 'till next time...................................
