My question: We have a "new to us" 2001 Fleetwood Discovery 37V with air suspension. On the rare occasion we travel a 'less than even' road surface the coach rolls back and forth on the suspension to a VERY unnerving level. I am talking at speed of 3 to 5 mph. Is there a recognized fix for such a problem or do I just have all the shocks replaced with heavier units? Unit has 52k miles.
It is a 300hp Cummins with an EDGE enhancer using level two. Great performance and averaging 14mpg at 55mph. Have done 2000 miles this year and love the unit.

You sound not have to replace anything with something heavier duty.
I would check the condition of the shocks and the airbags.
Something just isnít working right and sounds like it maybe air pressure in the bags.

There are restructors that are placed in the air lines to cut down on the rolling. Hendersons in Grants Pass OR sells one brand and Source Engineering in Coburg OR sells another. Some say the Source ones work slightly better. I have no experience with either.

Our Windsor has the Roadmaster 8-bag suspension system and it also has the tendency to rock side to side when going very slow (5 MPH or so) across uneven ground. On the road it's extremely stable!

Is your mpg figure from the dash gauge or calculated by hand with actual miles driven divided by gallons used? I could believe 9-10 mpg with your coach, as I had a similar one, but 14 is unheard of with the weight and wind resistance of 36-38' motorhome.

The mpg we are considering is hand calculated and using the Imperial gal. Somewhat less when calculated to the US gal.

OK, it's 20% less in US gallons.

Welcome to the forum!

The rocking is inherent to an airbag system with a high center of gravity.
