Hello from a fellow American Dream owner! You have a great coach there. Post some pics when you get a chance!
There's a lot of knowledge here regarding our vintage coaches, and I've learned so much hanging around here.
Good luck with your Dream, and hope to wave at ya on the road!

Did you change all of the coolant hoses too. I noticed my 2013 has hoses the appeared to be swelling, so had them all replaced last year. Some were pretty punky. Also replaced all the belts as a precaution and kept the old ones for spares. Heat can take a toll on rubber.

How many hours on generator?
Simple to change filters and oil, but no way to "inspect" water pump belt.
Steering axle ball joints are issue on that vintage coach, the rubber boots deteriorate and allow the joints to fail. If yours are still ok,
There's a thread under spartan chassis here detailing adding grease fittings to them
If you don't know history of coach, I'd probably remove the CAC and wash out radiator fins, that'll ensure temp stays normal
Those are rock solid coach's that are easy to work on and ride fantastic.
Tons of knowledge here, so ask about anything, you'll get a answer!

I always loved the looks of American Eagle and Dream coaches. Would of have bought a Dream but my daily driver was acting wonky aka the variable valve timing electro magnet was intermittently going out , so I was afraid to drive 5hrs one way.

Welcome to the Forum and the "Vintage Americans" coach club.
Mackwrench is our technical guru and there are quite a few owners that frequent the Fleetwood owner's forum on this site that collectively have probably experienced all things possible with these Eagles, Dreams and Traditions.
If your ball joint boots are gone, but the ball joints themselves are still good you can maintain them by using the following product:
https://boeshield.com/
Product has great wicking properties and will keep your joints lubricated with regular use. Available on-line or at any marine store.
Also excellent for keeping your slide apparatus lubricated.
If your Dream has the original Source Manager (transfer switch, inverter and converter combo) you will likely experience the need for a replacement at some time in the future. Unit and components are obsolete at this point....but Mackwrench and others have done the replacement and posted the details on the Fleetwood Forum.
Enjoy your new ride!!!
