New tire time

Any opinions out there on Michelin XZA2 vs Toyo M144 for rear tires switch out ? There is about $1000 difference even with FMCA discount

Toyo tires work for me. 1/2 the prices of Michelin.

I replaced all eight Michelins with Toyo M144's 18 months ago. Wife says they ride better, were easy to balance and fuel economy is very slightly better. Saved $300 per tire too. What's not to like about that??

As the others have said, definitely go with the Toyo tires. Actually a bit better quality and a much better price !!

I am hearing good things about the Sailun as well. They appear to be even cheaper. I am actually thinking of using it them when I have to replace.

Go to the green search box at the top of this page and type in "Michelin vs Toyo tires". You'll have enough threads to read for months.

Probably the most asked question here.

Had 144's on my previous RV, 177's on this one. Happy with both.

New tire time

I am currently still running a set of six Michelin XZA2 that I bought when I bought my coach in June 2012, date code 1612. So they’re coming up on 8 years old, and only just starting to show early sidewall cracking. I’ve been very well pleased.

That having been said, I’m planning replacement this spring before we commence about 6K miles planned between April and November. I’ll be looking at Michelin, Toyo, Hankook, and Sailun, and we’ll see who emerges best from the price v quality/longevity matrix.

Michelin and Goodyear have priced themselves out of my range. I'm happy with the Sailun truck tires on our MH.

I am very happy with my Sailun's also. Great tire for the price.

I just replaced my 10 year old Hankooks with another set. 40 ft HR . AH37s , ordered online Walmart. And delivered to my local tire shop. Tires + local install ran 2,350.00 for all. 255 70R 22.5s . I love Michilins but can't justify the price for less than 30k in travel over 10 years.
