New Tires

GaryKD - I'm not too unhappy with the MH as it is, however with that said, I would like to investigate any improvements that might lessen driver fatigue. I'm also concerned about the possibility of a front blowout and what I can do to control that. The MH somewhat likes to follow the deeper ruts in the road. The only other big problem is the "parking lot roll" which I would like to be able to tame.

Thanks

Hi Dave,
For one stop shopping, consider this vendor. http://supersteersuperstop.com/steering-systems/ Give them a call. I have the motion control units that have eliminated the "parking lot roll" mentioned in your last post. They also have a steering stabilizer that one can recenter from the driver's seat. They have a bunch of other chassis improvements. If you are around where they are located, consider making an appointment. They have a process that will "knock your socks off" for thoroughness. They will, most likely, not make any recommendations until they take your coach through their diagnostic process. Many of their aftermarket devices are chassis specific.

New Tires

GaryKD, thanks for the info. I will be passing through Minnesota and there is a RPA service center there. I am going to try to hit it.

Thanks again

I installed steer safe on my 02 Bounder two years ago. would not leave home with out it. no wondering on the road and no fighting the wheel. I am also getting ready to put new tires on it. that is why I was looking at this form. hope this helps.

Wcombs34, did you install the unit yourself or have it installed. If you did, how hard was it to set it up? I'm trying to do the minimum changes that will have the maximum impact. The new Toyos seem to be doing fine, however, they do seem to wander a little, or maybe it's just me over-steering.

Thanks
