You need to do more research. Check out RV.org. They rate RVs and have information on the selection and dealing process. Good RV hunting.

Pick her choice and run with it. You don't want to travel with a gal who has "That look" on her face riding in the co-pilots seat.
If you pick your choice, woe be unto you when the first problem crops up. "I told you so"!

Although my RV experience is a total of one month of ownership of the Fleetwood in my signature line, I learned quite a bit in the year I have been hanging out here. When searching, I didn't even consider a Thor product. The OP's choices are like narrowing an automotive choice down to Mercedes, BMW, or Kia. Good luck with your Newmar or Tiffin.

My wife and I have been searching for the perfect fit for us and the grands. We loved the Allegro Open Road but had the opportunity to snag a Newmar Baystar at a great deal. Both are quality coaches and you can’t go wrong, but the Thor is definitely in a lower class and frankly we wouldn’t have considered it. Fleetwood puts out some great MHs at less $.

Welcome to the forum!
We have a Thor Quantum with no liveability / use issues. Went back to the factory with minor, mostly cosmetic issues. 18 Months and perfectly happy.

I know there are people that are happy with Thor products, but the first thing I thought when I read that list was the Sesame Street song, One of these things is not like the others....

Looking at the Newmar and Tiffin's at the Hershey show gives you a feel for the livability of the two models. Now take them both for a ride. You didn't mention if you were looking at gas or diesel, but in the diesel line, nothing can compare to Newmar's Comfort Drive. Road test them both and have her drive both. You'll soon know the answer.

If I were looking at a diesel it would be a super C. Probably a Dynamax.

Don't let them scare you about Thor. Often people say things about certain brands they don't like, even if they have never owned one. I am happy with my Thor. Get the unit that makes you happy and that fits your needs. Floorplan and livability is a huge consideration on your first unit. I would definitely drive them and compare to see what satisfies your needs. I have owned Fleetwood, Winnebago and Thor. All 3 were pretty much the same in quality in my experience. Tiffin and Newmar are definitely going to be very nice also and on the upper end of the price spectrum. Higher price often, but not always, brings better features. I think from what I have seen Tiffin makes a very high quality coach but the size and floorplans didn't meet our needs. One more suggestion is to go on the different owners areas (thor, tiffin, etc.) on this site and ask some actual owners of the specific units you are considering what pros and cons they have seen.
Good luck and let us know what you pick!
