Newbee New Bounder does grey water tank when full overflo into black tank

I made the mistake of filling my freshwater tank and realizing I didn't turn the valve to not fill up the tank but use external water I filled the tank.
Does excess fresh water flow automatically into the grey water tank AS IT SEEMS MY GREY WATER TANK FILLED EASILY (sorry caps were on) with little use and
Does grey water excess flow into the black tank? I see several answers stating that the shower stall backs up but nothing about overflo relief into the grey tank.
No we are not hooked up into a dump system. Thanks!

Howdy and welcome. No, your gray water excess does not flow into the black tank. If it gets bad enough, it will back up into your shower and then onto the floor, though.

Your fresh water tank has an overflow that should allow water to escape. You should see water puddling on the ground from your fresh water overflow if you overfill. Did you have the vent cap off when filling?

relief cap

No I didn't have off, I know that now, but, the bounder does have a relief valve right next too it and that spouted. Thanks

You fresh water tank has no connections with any of the holding tanks. It does have an over-flow/vent, however, that will simply start dumping water on the ground if the tank is overfilled.

I've never heard of the black and grey tanks sharing any connections. I have heard that some manufacturers will route some of the house drains to the black tank, typically a vanity sink in the bathroom. I have also seen posts where an RV owner has modified the plumbing so he/she can divert some of the grey water into the black tank. Typically the grey tank will fill well before the black tank, depending on design, capacities and use.

No. The fresh water supply is independent from all other water storage tanks. When overfilled, it will just flow out the vent and fill orifice onto the ground. Be sure and remove the fill cap when filling the fresh water tank through the city water fill valve.
