New to Site and doing research, WTB a Used Class A DP.
We own a Home in the NJ and one if Fla.
I also have one son who plays Div 1 football another who plays college lacrosse we tailgate a lot felt it would make traveling and Tailgating a lot more comfortable and would not have to go so crazy trying to book hotels.
My initial feeling is to go a little older and higher quality to stay in my budget.
I have been a Boater my whole life but new to the land Yacht thing

Keep doing research on IRV2 & other sites. Lots of information out there, if you search the IRV2 forum you'll find posts discussing this very issue.
IMHO I think that you are on the right track, finding an older DP will serve you well and depending how old & model may be easier to understand the systems and understand them.
I would spend some time visiting RV lots and looking at different make model of coach and determine what your needs are.
We upgraded from a Class C to a ~38' Class A DP. A very nice coach and provides for plenty of room. My wife goes to dog shows and it's nice being able to stay in your own "house" while traveling.
