Newbie q on which one - pros/cons

Looking at diesel pushers entry model.

I have a biased view point and would reccomend a Winnebago product. The price isn't far off what you've been looking at and with all the floor plans- there must be something there you'd like. What is the draw for you toward these two coaches?- Just curious.

We looked pretty hard at the new sportscoach, and decided to buy a 3 year old monaco for the same money.
The sportscoach has a lot of pretty, but is very much entry level underneath, entry level frieghliner chassis, ISB engine, minimal bells and whistles. Darn good price for a new coach tho.

I strongly agree with JimM68. I was in Coeur d' Alene last week at the dumping station (really nice one by the way) and the guy opposite me had a new Class A gasser. We chatted while we ran our tanks empty. He paid almost as much for his gasser as I paid for a 4 year old tag axle Patriot Thunder.

If you have money and are willing to do the work, there are still superb deals on used ones, and frankly, the new ones are not trouble or expense free.

Either buy what you are looking at used and put half your money back in your wallet, or upgrade for the same money.
