My next door neighbor just bought a new Jayco Precept that has a bunk above the helm. We looked through the coach - looked nice, has some nice features and smelled new - that's all I know about the rig.

Our thor has the schwintek LCI bunk. People say you can lower the bunk part of the way, however as soon as weight gets on it (say one of my 100lbs kids) it seems to come down the rest of the way on its own. However its not a big deal, the bed is down when its time for my oldest to sleep, and when that happens, we won't be using the captain's chairs anyway.
