Newell coach

Great coaches. I looked at a couple at MHT. If I was going to do a Newell (and it's not out of the question down the road), I would have it built to spec and tone down the glitz.

That's actually the reason we went with the LADP. It's on the high end of our glitz tolerance, but this one was subtle enough to be tolerable. I know a Newell and a London Aire are not the same.class, but its our 1st class A and we are easing into it. [emoji6] If it sticks we will upgrade.


As with any high end coach, the maintenance and operating costs will be higher, but if you can afford a Newell, that probably won't be an issue.

Congratulations on your Newell. After 21 years in other Class A coaches we stepped up to a Newell last year. It’s been a great coach! The 24/7 service is excellent and you will use it. The team at Newell is very patient and will walk you through any issues. Their PDI will be thorough and they’ll answer any questions you’ll have and there will be many. You’ll want to plan on staying close by after the pick for a shake down but you won’t find much wrong. Grove, Monkey Island or evening Branson is options for a nice stay. Again, congratulations and happy camping.

Every Newell is custom designed and built; the interior "look and feel" is whatever the original buyer specified. Modern or traditional, glamour or minimalist, light or dark. If you are buying used, well, you like it or not and redecorate if you wish.

And this comment is based on what? You can bet it will be ALOT more problem free than any of the production line brands and if they can afford to buy a 2 million dollar rig do you really think that they are worried about any maintenance costs?

Yeah, I don't know what that comment is based on either. I've worked on several Newells over the years as we had friends who had owned a 1988, 1998, 2001, 2003, 2006 and a 2009 before they passed. From my personal experience with them they held up well and were quite reliable. Our friends racked up a LOT of miles on all of theirs as they went to Alaska and spent 3+ months there every other year as well as across the country multiple times in between their Alaska trips.

Granted all of their Newell's were purchased used but the reliability and quality was very evident. Put Newell to the top of my "someday" list when I get to that point. IT will be used of course.

Absolutely false!! Any actual Newell owner will tell you that Newell hands out free service and advice to the owners of any age Newells all the time, yes the service they charge for is expensive but it's always been worth it to us. We're on Newell # 3 and have seen it first hand.

Great company, had a 95 and when I had problems, got instant support by guys that have been working there for many years. Called them at 9 am on a Sunday morning with a problem, left message, tech called me back 10 minutes later and walked me through problem. This is on a 22 year old coach!! Guy even knew my coaches history and helped build it.

Back in 2014, I certainly looked hard at the Newell product, absolutely beautiful coaches. Took the tour in Miami, OK, and toured their show coaches at the Motorcoach Country Club in Indio, CA.

By a slim margin, I decided to go with building a Prevost.

Can't go wrong with either.
