Newmar 3412

There seems to be a considerable amount of information available for the Newmar Ventana LE 3412 but for the Ventana 3412 (non LE) very little. Also there seems to be no units available for sale? Regardless, any knowledge in the difference in the two units would be greatly appreciated. I know where one is, to be delivered in mid Oct. to the dealer, but pictures and info describing the differences in the two almost non existent. Thanks much.

I just put down a deposit on a new Ventana and spent some time comparing the LE. Ultimately we decided the LE wasn't the right choice for us. Biggest differences are the LE has lower load capacity, less HP, 19" wheels, and doesn't have most of the extras that the Ventana typically has like Oasis, central vac, etc. Both are nice coaches but for us the Ventana upgrades are worth the higher price.

Thanks. Do you feel there is a difference in the quality of interior furnishings? For example, seat coverings.

I think the seats and other furnishings are slightly different - stiching, piping, etc. I don't know if the cover material is any different, but the Ventana does seem like a slight upgrade there. Cabinetry, appliances, flooring, all seem the same. And of course the build, insulation, and mechanical systems are the same. I don't think you can go wrong with either one, just that the Ventana is a little bit "more" and that was worth it to us.

For what it's worth I found pictures of a sold unit but the individual that took the pictures of the non LE pusher did an extremely excellent job with a very extensive photo shoot.
