It is standard on the Newmar. Can't respond to your question on Entegra.

The difference in price is around 150,000.00. The two year warranty is a nice factor and would like to have it in the Essex but all that forces you to do is self insure or purchase a warranty a year earlier. Very difficult to install the options that Newmar has in the Essex in the EC. On another note it is hard for things to go wrong or break in the Cornerstone or Anthem because they are well built with not much in them to go wrong. Really quality is in both products one has the goodies and one does not. All about money.

All great posts! Keep them coming. Both such great coaches. Newmar really stepped up the interior on the essex for 2016. Maybe thats why I never really gave them a though before 2016.

Well said, truly that covers the differences. Pay more get more. Big question how much MORE is really needed?

I really think newmar stepped it up with the new egress door too. What a great feature. The older I get the more I think dragging myself through a window and dropping 8 feet to the ground doesn't sound like much fun. That egress door really gives you some piece of mind. Wifee might be a little afraid I might pull a fast one and open it at an inopportune moment LOL. Take a look at the youtube video on the 2016 essex.

I think that for the most part that is correct. However, and this could more repeat than anything, is the ability to modify a Newmar floor plan. We have seen walls moved to add storage, windows changed, different furniture and such in combinations that made a lot of sense to us from what our friends wanted. That can be HUGE to some and maybe not a big deal to others.

I've seen both factories and I think they both build great products. If you find a floor plan with EC that you like and it saves you significant cash over a similar Newmar it would be hard to ignore that factor.

I would like some EC owners to chime in on real life corner weights for their coaches. That would be helpful.
