Newmar house batteries stolen

I could use some help. All of the house batteries were stolen out of my 2013 Newmar mountain Aire 4336 and I have no Idea what size of replacement batteries to buy. Im not exactly sure how many either but I think that it is 6 of them. Does anyone know where I can go to find this info. I can't seem to find it in the manuals. Thanks

Sorry to hear this.

Call Newmar Customer Support, call toll-free 1-800-731-8300.

On the inside of one of your kitchen cabinets will be your motor homes's Unit Number - a number assigned to your motor home at the build.,

Have that number handy and they can tell you exactly what size battery and how many.

Good luck,

g

In my 2013 Dutchstar there are 8 GC2 batteries. I replaced them a couple years ago with Duracell AGM batteries from Sam's Club.

If just the house batteries were taken leave the chassis batteries six GC2 from your preferred manufacture will fit. As PanJH mentioned Duracell batteries from Sam's Club will work well and are competitively priced. Costco sells Interstate Batteries with near identical capacities and price.

Last week I saw GC2 batteries at Costco for $97 each with a $15 core charge.

I hope all the cables were well identified or color coded when time comes to replace the batteries please take great care. Sam's LA GC2 batts are at $89 right now at my local store . The Sam's AGM GC2 are not available in half the country it think it's a distribution non-compete arrangement.

I tried for several months to get the Duracell AGM from Sam's in the Midwest and could not.

Went with OReilly Auto Superstart AGMGC2 which are also made by East Penn.

Sounds right no AGM in Illinois .They had many years ago, also a Platnium LA version, I paid extra for a Pair on my old TT. I abused them for 10 years were still better than a pair of GP 27 12v "deep cycle" when I sold it.
