Nexus diesel pusher

Saw an ad in the new issue of FMC magazine. Anyone else look at the company video about their new DP? Thoughts, opinions?

Looked at it.. Seemed almost too good to be true!
Wonder about start up production glitches and problems..
Good luck...

I looked at their WEB page and e-mailed them a few questions (their suggestion if one has questions). This coach seems to have a lot of features available for a 34 footer. And, of course, the price point is attractive considering it is a diesel. Personally, I would prefer a minimum of 40' for a motor home of this caliber, but it is probably intended to compete with the Thor Palazzo and the like. Nice option to cut out the dealer, though!

The chassis and interior build suggest that it competes more with Thor Tuscany, Tiffin Phaeton, etc. Am waiting to see one in Ft Worth showroom when they get one here. Said they sold several at Tampa show.

I called and talked to them for 15 minutes. FYI, The Bentley Class A is just under 36' long.. They have orders for 10 units so the wait could be 6 months + if you wanted one. (the first Model may be for sale)
I was informed that no class A's will be in the Temecula Ca. showroom in the near future.

They were very professional.

Nice unit. Wonder when they will offer something in the 40'+ class.

I'd strongly consider them if I was in the market for a new DP. They look good, seems to be the perfect size for a couple.

But, alas, I can't think of any reason to sell mine!

I saw the notes about no air brakes or bag suspension on the rear. Normal?

Maybe someday soon, Mark( iRV2 Forums - View Profile: Cruzer) will do a road test and a write up on these Coach's?

I wouldn't mind doing an article on this coach. I've been to Nexus and done an article for FMCA on the smaller class C and was impressed with the steps they take in their construction. However, it's a matter of timing. FMCA would undoubtedly assign the article to me but this year has a pretty full slate so I don't know if it'll be possible right now, especially with me being temporarily between coaches at the moment.
