No hot water in shower
We have a new to us 2004 Fleetwood Bounder 38n, on our 1st long trip this week. The shower only has Luke warm water, kitchen and bathroom faucets both have very hot water. The shower has a 2 handle faucet. I suspect that our issue is a anti scald valve, but have no idea where it could be located.
By pass valve is open, hot water heater is fired up like it should? Any thoughts or help would be a blessing
Thanks

Outside shower water valves closed? Inside shower have a tub, check the diverter valve. If you have the temperature controller in your shower valving, it should be behind the wall at the valve body.

Your 'bypass' is CLOSED otherwise you would have luke warm water at ALL faucets
Luke warm only at shower with 2 handle controls...???
If you only open the HOT do you get luke warm water?
Do you know the Brand of shower faucet?

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!
If Old Biscuit doesn't know the answer then you're in big trouble! Sorry I can't offer suggestions on that.
Congrats on the new rig! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Use the top quote as your guide and run the test that is highlighted in bold.
Please report back your results.
The second quote is one possibility, along with a possible problem with the shower valve HOT side.

I needed to remove the water heater back flow valve. I suspected that the spring was too strong and was correct. The issue I was having was low hot water pressure though...

Check the debris strainer screen(s) going into/out of the shower faucet hot water lines.
If those look spiffy, then start tracing from the shower back to the hot water heater for a valve not entirely open or kink'd lines..
Also the anti-scald mixing valve may be the culprit as well.... some are adjustable some are not..

I found the problem, with the help of this forum. The “outside shower” had both valves open. Of course no water came out because it is a trigger operated hose, like what would be on your kitchen sink. So every time we used hot water it would mix through that valve.
We would get hot water for just a few seconds then it would get cold.
Thanks for the help, vacation saved!

Sorry to bump an old thread but I have an 06 Bounder 35e and am having the same issue and just realized this was my case too!! The valves were both open… wanted to make sure I put my model in here too for the next person with the issue.

I don't understand why having the outside shower valves on why this would turn the hot water cold. As long as no water is coming out of the outdoor shower what difference would it make.
