No juice

I recently tried starting the onan generator on mom's 2000 Allegro to no avail. Carb problems I think. Now we have no shore power or DC power except for a clock on the microwave. I believe I found all the circuit breakers and fuses which were all okay and even the house but nothing works. Any thoughts before I pay $105.00 an hour?

Possible transfer switch problem. Look for a box in the shore connecton area will probably be about 6x10. Disconnect power before opening box, check for loose connections. Also make sure the salesman's switch by the front door is on.

Hmmm. No 12VDC and no 120VAC? But the clock on the microwave is on 120vac power, so you must be getting some power into the coach. And that rules out the transfer switch as well.

I think you need to check the circuits more carefully and determine just what works and what does not. Clearly some thing are working.

What about the batteries? Are the house batteries charged up? Have you located the converter/charger yet? Often it will have a regular 120vac power cord and you could plug it into an extension form the house if the internal power isn't yet working.

What does the generator do, besides not start? More detailed symptoms?

Boy am I a dummy

Sorry it took so long to get back but I found the problem. It's probably called a dummy switch. Toggle switch right by the door got flipped to dc and since the house batteries were dead no juice. Thanks for the input.
