No power to Gen Set & over temp inverter

Hi Rvrs!
We are newbie owners of a 2004 Travel Supreme...needing suggestions for several electrical issues I am working on;

-1 Gen Set does not have power from the coach batteries to the front terminal which the Gen Set is connected to. Gen Set only has 502 hrs on it.
Checked all cables at batteries, (all batteries brand new). Cannot seem to locate detailed wiring schematics.

2- Bit puzzled about the inverter. It shows over-temp when running.
All help & comments greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Somewhere near the batteries is a large amp breaker or fuse and possibly a switch, powered the cable to the generator. You need to find and follow the cable and check them.

The generator cable may not even be connected, with new batteries. Cables have been left off or hooked to negative.

The inverter may have a non funtional cooling fan in it. See if it has one and it's spinning when hot.

start with a web browser. Download the onwers/service manual for Inverter.
Do the same for the generator.

Next list the make and model of your units (we all guess without it).
Sometimes it is the engine or coach battery that starts the generator.

as for the inverter, the owners manual will state usually something about the overtemp. Sometimes it is caused by a bad battery. You need to get the manual.
