No Power to Levelers -

Just purchased 2006 Fleetwood Bounder 33R. Has Atwood Levelegs.
When I picked up unit to drive home to SC from FL the owner there had hard time to get the levelers to raise but the did the the unit had power. Now cannot turn the unit on - Troubleshooting in manual say to check wiring - any clue as to where I would start would be appreciated.

Atwood Level Legs are very prone to failures and intermittent operation. There is a power control, probably in electrical bay. There are two connectors on the board. The one with 4 pins has the signal for the emergency brake is engaged. If that signal isn’t present nothing will work. The pins for both connectors are the size of wire wrap pins. They are susceptible to corrosion. Try pulling and reinstall several times. Be careful you can break or pull a pin out.

If it is a matter of retracting the jacks. With engine running, place foot on brake pedal and change transmission selector to drive. There should be a loud alarm and all jacks will retract. If they won’t extend, try the pulling connectors solution above.

After having 4 power control boards failures at $525 each and one jack replaced, I replaced the whole system with HWH. Should have done that at first failure. Never has a front panel failure.

Found and removed fuse # 11 - a 30 amp, Looked OK so I put it back in place and then I was able to turn the control panel on. I lowered the levelers and then tried to retract them but am having a problem - They are not coming up. Not urgent as motorhome is in my drive way - Have called Atwood who it appears is now owned by Dometic - Have a call in to them but they could not take the call - maybe closed. Tried also to call Coach Net but they were not able to help and said I had to call Atwood.
OH well - Thanks - at least now have power.
