No power to tv

I have a 2004 Damon Intruder that i recently upgraded my old analog TV to a new flat screen TV. There was an old Winegard Video Distribution switch, model
MODEL VS-0604/VS-6412 6 Inputs/4 Outputs, that I removed since we no longer needed it. The problem that I have encountered is that after the removal/installation I have no AC power to any of the outlets for the entertainment equipment. I didn't change or alter any of the AC wiring to any of the outlets. I have AC power to the refrigerator, microwave and all the other outlets. I have checked the breakers in the power panel and the 15 A breaker for the TV is good (I checked the power on the output side of the breaker with my VOM) and it is good. Has anyone experienced this and what am I overlooking?

Turn the ignition switch off and take out the key.

Those outlets may pass through the inverter. Check to see if the inverter is on or needs reset.

No power to tv

The ignition is off and the key is not in it. The ignition interface was one of the first things that I thought of, does it go through some type relay to prevent operation of the TV when the engine is running?
It appears that the inverter is on, but, I will try to reset this afternoon.

Yes. The relay is activated by +12v from the "ON" side of the ignition switch, so it opens whenever the key is on (engine need not actually be running). Typically the relay is built right into the outlet, so the outlet has both 120v wires and 12v inputs.

Something you did either interrupted the 12v power or you did something to the 120v power to the outlet. Perhaps you removed the relay or changed its 12v source?

You can avoid the whole problem by plugging the tv to a different outlet.

TV On Sometimes Does Not Work - Goblins?

Gary RVRoamer (You genius!): Maybe you can answer these questions related to my TV that has bothered me for years...

1) Are you saying their is a standard bosch relay and use pins 85 & 85 for the 12V ignition key to toggle/trigger on-and-off; and that relay can also have 110VAC on pin 30 with pin 87 going to the wall switch hot side?

2) My living room and bedroom TV will not power on when a 12V (3-way) light switch under my Power Panel (between the kitchen & bathroom area) is sometimes switched off or on.

Note: This 12V light switch in the hall is a 3-way switch with the 3-way light switch in the bedroom... and I think it's switching only "while" wires if I remember right.

...But why would a power switch have anything to do with the power to the Media Switch Box?

And I have another Goblin Problem...

3) One time I disconnected my bedroom TV coax and the Media Switch Box (above my main TV in the livingroom) would not send a video signal to either TV.

I'm guessing the Media switch box gets it's ground from the coax. Is this possible? ...Why else does one TV care if the other TV coax is not screwed into the coax jack?
