No Water From Shower

I replaced my water heater yesterday. We finally have hot water.

But now, we move on the next water issue...

We now have hot water everywhere we're supposed to, except for the shower. No hot water, no cold water, nothing but a little drip.

I went outside, expecting to find water pouring out through the bottom. But; I didn't see any water leaking. No sounds of water leaking. Just a dripping shower head.

With no water leaking, the problem COULD be in the shower head or hose, but I doubt it. The shower was working before the freezer.

I am not sure where to look next.

I'd hate to think that we now have water pouring out inside one of our compartments.

Take the shower head off and see if water comes out.

And, the bathroom sink faucet is running about half of what it's supposed to. It's as if it's clogged up. Since the shower and sink are in the same room, and both are having a water issue, I'm sure that the problem is the same. Thinking that once I fix the shower problem, the sink issue will be resolved.

Hopefully.

Check for push button or twist valve on shower head, at the faucets or hose. It is a water saver to turn off while you soap down.

Likely debris stuck in the filters in the shower head and faucet screen.

Littlebob-

You are absolutely correct.
I pulled the shower head & the faucet screen. Soaked the screen and both ends of the shower head in hydrogen peroxide (didn't have any CLR),and now both are working. Need to get to a store to pick up some CLR and finish the job.

Thanks, Littlebob.

Yep freeze breaks loose every crumb of rust and scale. You should what comes out of big steel pipes that survive freezing, like your pumping out a dirt hole.
I have old house on crawl I was under a thawing the pipes .I have the wife shut off whatever faucet starts flowing hot or cold. One time it instantly stopped up the screen I had the pipe hot from one end to the other till I figured it out.
I'm happy it didn't cause more damage. We had a tough real cold and snow over and over at house and work.
