Noise level in new coach

I joined this group last week in anticipation of problems with a new coach. Indeed the deed has been done. I brought a new Tuscany 36 MQ home 2 days ago. For the past several years I have left all of the coach noise behind me in one of several fifth wheels. So be it--I'm pretty sure that the majority of the noise heard in the new MH is coming from the rather long slide topper on either side of the coach. In the wind they slap back and forth against the side of the coach. I'm sure that this is not a new problem. What would be the solution? I also have a cruise control which will not disengage when brake is pressed. Thanks for your input...........

Did it come with a warranty?

Yes, should be covered by warranty--but I'm 200 miles away from the dealership. Perhaps I'm looking for some temporary fix..........

Howdy and welcome! Congrats on the new rig. Have you checked the awning to see if it's closing correctly? We have not had this problem so I don't have much to offer. As for the cruise control; that definitely sounds like a dealer (or chassis manufacturer) visit. Good luck and have fun.

The slide toppers should have an anti-billow device, if it is missing the air will catch the exposed topper and roll and unroll. The switch for the cruise disconnect is likely on the brake pedal, a simple adjustment should fix. If it is more than that, a chassis service center would be where I would call first.

Goung along with the anti-billow,you should make sure that it is rolled tightly. When the dealer replaced the one on my front slide,it wasn't tight and unrolled on the way home,10 minutes on the freeway and I just had to go back and have it replaced.
I agree with the switch adjustment on the brake as that happened on mine too.
