Noisy slide

The slide on the side of my class A makes a loud rubbing noise in the back part of it when I put it in or out. It is always about the same distance out or in when it does that and then it stops. It does it when it is just about all the way out and stops before it is all the way out and then in the same place coming back in. NO signs of rubbing anywhere. What say you.

I would suggest having 2 or more people. One person to activate the slide, the others to search/listen (using flashlights) for the area of friction that makes the noise. By yourself could be difficult to determine, on a forum even harder. Good luck.

Bob, please post what brand motorhome that you have. Then you might want to ask under the owners forum of your brand. For a cheep fix try coating the out-side of the "box" on your slide with Mothers Carnuba wax. Buy a sponge mop and put on the wax then dont wipe it off. see if that helps.

Found the problem on the '06 Itasca, the rear arm was not adjusted so it ran on the rollers, readjusted, works great. I love this forum, good meaningful info
