Non GFCI outlets stopped working

My 30 amp rig lost power to 120v non GFCI outlets. Went out while using space heater, microwave and tv. Reset circuit breakers with no positive response. Could the a circuit breaker go bad? I have power at protected 120 v GFCI outlets.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

Welcome to iRV2.

Sorry your first post is about problems .

YES , 120 volt circuit breakers can go bad , also loose connections at the circuit breakers can cause issues like yours .

Do you have a multi meter ?

Disconnect from shore power , remove the cover plate in your C/B panel , and tighten the screw holding the wire into the C/B.

Connect to shore power , and check for power to the outlets. If no power to the outlets , carefully ; using the multi meter set to 120 volt; check for 120 volt power at the wire connection of the C/B.

For more help please add ALL your RV's info to your post .

If you have an inverter/ charger, look on it for circuit breakers. The inverter/charger will be in a storage bay.

Another vote for your inverter. The circuit breaker may just be a small button or rocker switch. It can be hard to find, but it's there somewhere.

You might have non gfi outlets that are slaved through a gfi outlet. Make sure all of the gfi outlets are reset.
Took me awhile to figure this out one time when I had the same problem.

Also check for a fuse (200 to 300amp) between the batteries and the inverter. This would typically be located nearer the batteries than the inverter.

Like pointrow said, it could still be one of your GFCI outlets is tripped. I'd test and reset all of them. GFCI outlets not only protect the outlet where they are installed but also protect all outlets on their "downstream" side. Could impact a good many outlets with the failure of a single GFCI. Additionally, RV manufacturers are pretty good at hiding GFCI outlets in places like storage compartments and other out of the way locations.
