Check the ID Sticker on the RECALL BOX

IF it is NOT Revision 'E' contact Norcold and get it changed out to newest revision
Tell them which Revision you have and that it tripped

If you take it in to authorized dealer.....S/B NO Charges

If 'authorized Mobile RV Tech'....Service Charge but no other charges

Wrong Black Box. That is your fridge control board. The small black box you should be looking for is about 3-4 inches square zip-tied to the tubes at the rear of the fridge with only a few wires and a small RED LED light on the front. It should also have a tag attached to one of the wires.

Here is a photo.

You can easily see BOTH black boxes. The larger one at the rear is your fridge control board with a cover over it.

If you are unsure whether or not the recall work has been performed (assuming that your frig is subject to the recall), I plead with you to get a qualified tech to make that determination. If the recall work has not been performed, DO NOT use the fridge (turn it off) until you can get the recall work done and/or get the ARP switch installed. The refers subject to the recall are known fire hazards. Fires have started which resulted in partial or total losses of the RV, loss of pets, and supposedly at least one life lost. Search this forum for more information.

Will take heed to that I want it working but it's not detrimental at this point as I'm still restoring my coach I'm really leaning on a new unit
