Norcold flashing no fl. ?

I was gonna start the norcol on LP before I head somewhere and it runs for a few secs and then stops with a beep and display flash no fl. Nothing in the manual on it. Any suggestions?

i can hear the propane run for the first few secs. And I made sure the LP valve is open ( I can hear the click). I guess I can try the heat.

Well my 2 cents! You also need 12v power & gas. Master power switch ON & LP gas On! Run some gas though the cook stove top. If your still not getting gas & lighting to norcold look at the back to see if wires are loose.

All chassis and house power was on. Will try the cook top. So best way to view flame is via exterior rear panel?

all other power to norcol otherwise seems functional.

When was the last time you had it on? You may need to purge the line. Our fridge is downline from the stove, so I turn the stove on & get a burner to light before I turn on the fridge.

Yes! Then if that fails u might have a circuit board failure. It happens.

Norcold 'no fl'----No Flame DETECTED

Means main flame did not PROVE it lit.
Could be just a dirty burner
Could be just dirty spark electrode
Could be just need to 'establish propane flow' and place 'demand on LP Regulator'

Light off stove top burners on high...establish flow/place demand on reg
Then try fridge again...may take couple of attempts to get flow established to fridge burner.

IF it still throws fault code then need to open up burner area and inspect/clean/adjust

the rear panel is the only place to view to see if flame is actually coming on
all other 12v power to norcol is normal otherwise you would have no display and nothing would work on it

Fridg started up after getting stove top burners lit - thanks.

But I found the carpet at the base of the front slide couch is wet. We had a pretty big rain lately but sides were in. I put out front side and found some pine needles that had compressed by the seal for the top of the slide. Hoping that was it. Got it airing out (no rain expected for a while) and the roadtrip should get it some good ventilation.

Oh! Good news. Sometime u need your gas flowing in the RV pipes an to every pipe end. I done the same and as long as u have power & gas flowing The refer will light! At least your circuit board is Ok!

YAY. Sometimes the simplest solution does the trick.
