Norcold Fridge Ice Maker Water Valve

Quick question...will need to winterize the 2019 Bay Star Sport in December and I would like to disconnect both the inlet water hose and the tube on the bottom of the valve. The side connection is threaded but the bottom one is not threaded. It's plastic so I don't want to be tugging on it and have something snap, crack or break.

Anyone familiar with this type of connector? Maybe a hint at how to disconnect?

I believe its a part number: Norcold 640908. Uploading a photo.

Thanks all!

There are two types, one push-on and the other threaded. Yours looks like a slip-on type, but I'm not positive

Threaded: https://www.amazon.com/Norcold-61825.../dp/B00C5TJ4QA

It's a standard slip fitting. If you push up on the white collar around the tubing while pulling down on the tube at the same time it will release.

I've tried to push up on the white ring near the tubing but didn't seem really move at all. You can see in the photo it's like it's already up as high as it will go. And, I'm sure I didn't pull down on the tubing hard enough since I was worried about breaking something.

Thanks to you both for your help. I'll give it another go.

Use a open end wrench that fits tight around the tubing and push up with it. Then pull down on the tubing.

Made a run over to storage and completed the winterizing. First step was to remove the duct tape and unwrap the white wire that was wrapped around the valve. Once all that was free, I was able remove the bottom tube. Thanks to all, appreciate all the info and suggestions!

Ok, but you're not done yet. If that ice maker solenoid valve is exposed to freezing temps, it will overfill the icemaker, causing a mess. You have to unplug and remove it. The solenoid valve consists of the blue valve body, the sliver electrical solenoid on top, and the metal frame between the two tht is screwed to the back of the fridge. Remove those screws and take the solenoid valve in the house.

To pump RV anti-freeze through the black tubing that runs from the under-counter water filter to the ice-maker, you remove water filter from housing by raising the bypass lever up and back until it clicks into position, remove filter, place bypass plug were filter was, then pull handle forward to allow RV anti-freeze to flow through black tubing(garden hose connection) into a small container or outside the RV.

Use the same procedure when blowing out the lines with compressed air.
