Norcold fridge issues

im having a weird issue with my norcold fridge. It will run on Propane and electric. Now here is the issue when i start the motorhome and the alt kicks in to charge the house batteries i get a HE error. this wont go away unless i go and unplug my 110 plug in the fridge bay. ( inverter is on) . Now all these issues go away when my Battery isolator is NFG . (have a new one on order)
it seems to me that when the fridge gets 14 volts instead of 12 i have these problems.
does the fridge have a voltage regulator in the mother board that is burnt out? is it possible to just wire in a voltage regulator before it hooks up to the mother board?

Norcold has a very nice customer service dept. Suggest you talk with them first.

My Norcold 1200 frequently gives that error code when running on inverter!

No the circuit board does NOT have a voltage regulator. NOT needed.

DC Voltage supplied by batteries (or converter) can be 10.5V to 15.4V

AC Power can be 108V to 132V

'HE' fault means the electric heater elements failed OPEN

So problem is either with one or both heater elements (should test at 64 Ohms each), elements lead connections (loose/dirty) or circuit board

Are you getting ANY High or Low AC Fault codes?
