Norcold refrigerator

40' Holiday Rambler Ambassador. The Norcold Refrigerator after being set alarms. The RV is hooked up at my home using 50amp hookup. I set the temp; set the mode..after a few hours have passed the Norcold starts beeping and "no co" flashes. I reset once but it beeps again. The manual says I need to see an authorized Norcold Service Center which I have located..has anyone dealt with this? Is this fixable? Or I read where an RVer stated that a residential refrigerator keeps food fresher longer. Should I invest in removing the Norcold and putting in a different (residential) refrigerator?

I could go thru a list of questions and things to do but easier if YOU read how/why yourself.

Read up on the 'cooling monitor system' and 'NoCo' faults on pgs 32 & 33
Then read up on 'hard reset' on pg 18

After reading/resetting.....post back if fridge doesn't cool

One of the best moves that I have made was to ditch the Not-So-Cold and install the Samsung 197 going on 6 years ago. Keeps my beer cold and the ice cream hard plus 2X the room. Mine has never been turned off, runs on the inverter 100% of the time when not plugged in.
Now the frig of choice is Samsung RF18.

Just put a new Norcold 1200 LM after the original stopped working - had ordered a Dometic Elite 2+2 but due to the hallway the fridge was in (1 inch too narrow to fit the elite) so had to go with an original model - had a couple of bumps - mechanic who started the install did not give a pass down to the mechanic who finished it so we thought we had another bad fridge - 2nd mechanic didn't turn on the propane or reconnect the cooling fans to the house batteries (found out about the battery situation yesterday looking at another issue) finally able to use the refrigerator again.
