Isolation or charge bridge solenoid handles the charging between the battery banks.

The logic of the Spyder system is that the house batteries don't charge until it senses 12.4 volts in the house batteries for one minute, then it will activate the merge solenoid to tie the two battery banks for one hour. When you are on shore power, the reverse is true. It has to sense 12.4 volts in the chassis batteries before they merge for one hour. In your photo, both battery banks are at full power so it is no longer charging. If you have questions, contact Christian or one of the other techs at Spyder Controls.

That photo indicates charging is taking place, even though the inverter is drawing 18A from the house batteries. The house voltage wouldn't be high (13.8v) if it wasn't receiving charge voltage from the chassis (alternator). However, I would bet the inverter is drawing out as much as is flowing in.
