I just drove from the turnpike's Strongsville/Cleveland exit 161 at I-71 to the turnpike exit at I-75 both ways this past weekend. A few construction areas at bridges but no miles-long construction areas on either side as in the past. While I was in a car the lane widths were not too bad.
If you're taking an RV, be aware that the toll gates on the Ohio Turnpike are VERY narrow with high "poles" on the sides of some gates and many trucks and motorhomes have knocked a side mirror off. And many times the Ohio Turnpike Commission has had the end lanes closed.
When we go through with the motorhome we crawl through and get as close as safe on the driver's side, three or four inches or so. Someone needs to be watching the passenger mirror as you crawl through.
They're (finally) working on removing the toll gates as other states have done but they're nowhere near to done.
This is a great site for Ohio and they also have an app. It seems to always be up to date and you also can view the traffic cameras.

On the subject of the Cleveland Clinic Main Campus downtown, be darn sure to lock your doors while driving and have nothing visible inside while in their parking garages. It's not bad during the day but can get sketchy at night.
And whatever the heck you do, stay the heck out of East Cleveland.
