Getting some pretty consistant advice on having the oil changed on my Cat C-7 once a year in the spring irregardless of miles. Not even considering this a do it yourself job , so what should I expect to pay for this service in a midwest metro area. ? Rather have an idea going into it. RFS

Last week I paid $201 for oil & filter change (also fuel filter) in Kerrville Texas. They also lubed the system and checked the other fluid levels, tires, etc. The invoiced was noted $75 for labor.

This includes 2 standard filters and they will lubricate your chassis as-well (the one on you RV - not your personal one - mine feels like it could do with a lube some cold mornings ).
I think this is good value for money!
We do an oil change once a year regardless of miles.

I think Speedco is a good suggestion. I looked for Speedco but the nearest was about 60 miles in the wrong direction. The shop in Kerrville did a good job. Let me go in the "basement" with them and I did see them get all the zerk filleting's, etc. I've heard Speedco also allows you to watch them but haven't yet been to Speedco.
