Oil changes diesel and generator

We are in Gulfport, Ms. Does anyone know of or recommend where is good place for oil changes to diesel MH and the generator? I've called several places and the only one so far is Walmart...IF the MH fits into the bay. We are full time camping here so it's not really convenient to take a chance and drive to Walmart only to find we won't fit! Then, the search will start all over for another place.

Camping World changed the oil in my coach and generator. There is a Camping World in Biloxi, MS.

I know that the coach will fit into the bay there.

Another option (if one is near you) is Speedco.

Camping World doesn't, I called them. Don't think there is a Speedco near here either but I'll check. Thank you.

I paid about $330 +/- at Camping World. Best of luck on your search.

Assuming an Onan diesel generator and engine, I'd go to a Cummins shop... not a truck shop that works on Cummins... Cummins. You get what you pay for. No way in heck Walmart or anything similar has the experience and it only takes one yahoo with a wrench to cost you thousands later on down the road.

There's Kennedy engine co. in Biloxi Ms. that will change oil in your generator.Very good people to work with. They are an Onan rep. Had mine changed last month. Talk to Robbie and see if he will service your engine also. 228 392 2200

Oil change

Google Freightliner, or whatever chassis you have. Freightliner service centers are very efficient. I think the price you received from Speedco is about normal.

How many miles do you have since the last change? How many hours since the generator was changed? Just wondering how urgent a change is needed.

I will call them tomorrow. Would be great if he could do it all. I got the Walmart idea somewhere on one of the IRV2 forums, can't remember which one. There is a Speedco in Hammond, La which is about an hour and half from here. May have to do that. We had the oil and generator done about a year ago....so about 4000 miles on the engine and just over 30 hrs on the gen.

I will post on here what we end up with. This site is great, we have learned a lot and got a lot of help when we posed the questions.
