The rest just asked for pic's before saying OK..
Nice coach.

I went to college in Nacogdoches and met some of the Fores there. I've always had a fondness for their coaches.

Just getting into large class A's. Maybe I'll pull the trigger in one as my next coach.

Peruse the Motorhomes of TX website...Go back in Years until your budget and their price match.. We prefer durability over "New Bling toys"

I just bought a Newmar London Aire from them.

I did look at their used Foretravels, but decided on the newer LA.

Don't disagree with your quality statement, but the LA has a good reputation and some features that my wife really wanted.

I figure it won't be a total disaster, and if we really like it we can always upgrade.

In my years of RVing Iíve only encountered one CG that was firm with their ten yr. rule. Every other place that has that rule will usually allow you in if your rig is not dilapidated. They may ask for pics at the booking time.

I agree with the others on here. My wife and I have a 20 year old County Coach, I do my best to make it look sharp when we are on the road.

Any park that tells me that my RV is not welcome is doing me a favor, I likely don't want to be there anyway. I'm fairly certain my money will be accepted someplace much nicer.

I am not here to compare bank accounts, I'm here to relax.

Older coach denied entry?

This rule comes from the commercial liability underwriters who cover the campground. [there are very very few of these carriers, so the rule is ubiquitous.]
What the rule actually stipulates is that the CG cannot engage in a *long term* agreement with any RV more than 10 years old. Long Term is defined as more than 30 days. Thatís it, thatís the rule.
Many operators have seized on this as a tool to help them avoid the Cousin Eddieís of this world. Or to backstop their snobbery. In any event, the so-called ďruleĒ puts no constraint on any RV at all for stays of less than 30 days. Some of you may have noticed occasionally that a CG where you want to stay for a few months wonít check you in for your whole stay, but will only give you a rental 30 days at a time.

Most of the RV'ers we've met are great folks. I know when I look for a CG I focus on safe, convenient, safe, clean, safe, roomie, safe, close to our route. Did I mention safe?!

I never look to see if they have a 10 year rule, or make sure it is only Class A rigs.

My point would be don't judge all the campers using these places as snobs, unless they personally treat you in a poor way.

i guess mileage may vary, and there are always exceptions to the rule.

We work to keep camping a low stress, high relaxation event. I'm just a pain avoiding; pleasure seeking animal. Just like most other folks I bet.....
