I would only buy a coach with full body paint that is in good condition. Keep them waxed and you can't really tell how old they are unless they have a really dated body style. (Hard to tell a 15 year old Phaeton from a brand new one) Gel coat with vinyl stripes looks like crap in 4-5 years in the FL sun. We are parked next to a gelcoat rig that is half the age of ours and looks 3x older.

I've had no problems getting into any park with this rule. It's their park and their rules. I support their right to not allow junkers into the park.

Have been asked for pictures more than once but never turned away. It kind of irritates me but I'm sure they have their reasons.

Just like at home, I don't want a junker next to me, it's typically an idication of the people ... but, I'm not a snob, just worried about my kids being influenced

That's it in a nutshell......

And as we are seeing with the responses on this thread, many people are voting with their wallets, as it should be...

Support the parks you like/agree with, and don't support the parks you don't like/disagree with....

I'm new to a Class A, but had trailers for many years....

I have been in parks where if there are any rules, they are not enforced... Total pandemonium, noise, and chaos.... Not a relaxing experience

I've been in snooty parks, just too sterile and "proper" for my taste....

I'm glad there are many examples of the various types of parks for me to choose from...

No way will I EVER show a CG my registration and insurance paperwork....

It’s basically none of their business (even though they do own the CG)...

I guess I could ask to see a copy of their liability insurance - just in case I was to be injured while on their property...

I say thanks but no thanks and take my business next door....

You know.....if some of you would take two seconds to think why these parks have these rules, you wouldn't make statements like "they're too snobby for me, or I'll talk with my dollars".

If a park gets stuck with a low life tweaker coach that refuses to leave because of breakdowns, no money or just squatters, many states force the RV park to go through an eviction process. These parks are protecting themselves and YOU, not being snobby.

This is what a park looks like when they have no standards or rules....

Thank you . An intelligent and educated comment. I appreciate choices and i choose not to stay in a park were i have to sit outside my door with a shotgun in my lap. To each there own....

Those silly 10 year old rules are in place so they can request a photo to keep the Griswolds out!

It's parked about ten miles from us at Castle Noel: https://castlenoel.com/exhibits/

If you're ever in NE Ohio, this place is about 30 miles south of Cleveland.
