Omnidirectional TV Antenna

Purchased a 2016 Thor Dynasty motorhome last month. The roof tv antenna is broken. Looking at omnidirectional antennas but know nothing about them. Do not need wifi! What brands have you guys replaced yours with? Thanks for any help!

I replaced ours with the King Jack! Very happy with it!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

We replaced our Bat Wings with a new King Jack. Works great.

I ran head to head tests of a pancake vs a batwing, both were powered, and the batwing won hands down. Number of stations picked up by the directional batwing was at least 2X. And the batwing pulled in stations from over 50 miles away. That was 3 years ago or so. So I'm not a big fan of pancake style omni-directional antennas. Not familiar with the King Omnipro line but I suspect it would suffer a similar loss. Also would be good to mention the fact that the typical pancake would only be around 9" above the RVs roof, whereas a batwing is 2 feet above. I suspect you can find kits to adapt one to the antenna assembly. Still, I don't think much of them.

We love the batwing with wingman. I’m continually amazed how well it works. Mine is the electrically powered unit that raises and rotates by push of a button.

We were camping at Grand Haven SP last summer. I was picking up stations from Green Bay WI, watch had to be at least 100 miles away as the crow flies.

Welcome to IRV2 What antenna do you currently have and what is broken on it? My thought is that it may be simpler to fix what is broken instead of replacing the entire antenna. ~Craig

I have the adjustable King jack . my friend a batwing no wingman... he get nearly twice as many stations and clearer. I would guess the omni would drop another half.
