I need some help folks. My Onan 6500 Emerald Genset wont crank. I did remove the carb for a cleaning and now it wont crank at all. I checked the automotive style fuse on the side and also the 5 amp glass fuse on the front panel. I have 13+ volts to the main power lug in. I also tried the other 2 start/stop buttons inside the coach to no avail. Anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks for the help. Rick

Please define "won't start" and include what is and isn't happening.

Will not crank or turn over at all. Push the button and nothing at all.

Really! I am always surprised when it starts. And then makes electricity for a little while.

I think it is a little sad that I have it as a favorite on my computer. To be fair, my current Onan is old with lots of hours. Which is better than few hours and not run monthly like my last one.

Make sure all the plugs are are connected and no wires have been eaten by mice.

SOLVED! I rechecked the glass fuse and for some reason it would check fine in one direction but when I flipped the meter leads it did not have connectivity. I replaced the fuse and all is well. It runs like a top now that the carburetor was cleaned. We are looking forward to our upcoming 3 week adventures!
