Onan 7.5 air filter location?

Anyone know where the air filter is located on a 2002 7.5 onan quite run?

Welcome to iRV2.

My 7.5 the air filter is accessed at the front / bottom ( opposite end from the fuel/electrical hook ups). If you don't have a manual for your Onan, there are some in the " Files " drop box under "electrical".

The " Files " drop box is in the dark blue bar , across the page under the Google search , and your welcome message.

It's located on the front of the genset. The filter is under a black lid held on with a wing nut. After lifting the shroud(lid), you'll find another metal lid and another wing nut...the filter is under the last lid. There's a Onan 7.5 servicing video out that has a lot of serv. info... if I can find it.

Look underneath at the very front. The housing for the air cleaner faces forward. As you look up, you'll see the wing nut that loosens the cover. Just changed my 2000 model yesterday, so can't imagine a 2002 is any different. Takes about 10 minutes to remove the old and pop in the new.
