Onan Gen Belt

2003 Tiffin Allegro Bus, Gen hours 507. Removed gen covers to inspect belt, found belt to be cracking badly and starting to come apart. In the process of removing belt, it broke. Glad I decided to inspect it.

Last year I replaced both belts on our 12.5K Onan ... horrible job. Both of the old belts had big chunks missing.

It will be cheaper to take the old belt to Napa and get a Gates green stripe than to try and purchase an Onan factory belt. Napa can match the same size for 15 bucks, Onan will charge 50 bucks.
While your in there, check for loose bolts around the engine mounts. I had 2 loose. One each side.
