Onan Genset Oil. Leak

My 8k Quiet Diesel generator has developed a slow drip from the oil filter compartment. I believe it may be the filter but can't be sure. I lube the oil ring before installing the filter and use a genuine Onan filter but can't seem to get it to stop. Any ideas?

I had a defective oil filter on my new 2015 ford pickup truck. Couldn't stop the leak from day 1. dealer replaced the filter and it's been fine.

You are going to have to crawl under and take a look. Could be a drip from the drain plug, you could have over tightened the filter causing the gasket to curl
