Onan Model 5.5BGMFA26105H / 5500 Marquis Carburetor

Hi Folks,

Tried searching the forums but not much luck.

Need to replace (it doesn't seem like there is a rebuild kit) the carb.

Having trouble finding one, and finding a few different part numbers.

One pn is: 146-0664
One is pn: 146-064

Both seem to be sold out or non existent.

I also found a service manual for the 5500 that quotes a 59B-3 Zenith, but the service manual has a 1950's look to it.

I've had rather poor luck with my local shops, and can't tell if they're putting me off or this carb is just that hard to find. Amid other things they were supposed to be doing.

I would love to pull mine off and look at it but I'm away on work trying to track this stuff down online.

If anyone has a pn or other intel I'd be very much obliged.

TIA.

Question how did you determine it’s the carburetor and not the fuel filter or fuel pump. Get your self a can of sea foam spray and spray it inside clean and replace the fuel pump if not done

One of our sponsors, RVUpgrades.com, has a parts listing at this address.

There appears to be rebuild kits available. Try calling RVupgrades.

Honestly that's what the service people said, so that is up for question. I will do the seafoam, thanks!
