I have a 2017 Fleetwood Discovery 37R and want to know does the onboard water filter work for all water (city and fresh) or just the fresh water tank

You may want to put your hand on the canister and have somebody open and close a valve and see if you can feel the water flow and stop.

Also, are you sure that there is a filter in the canister. I thought that Thor had been nice enough to include a spare filter... DUH.. they hadn't installed one and left it in the area.
