ONE faucet not working?

Dewinterized our 08 Rambler without incident... all's well.

With one exception: the kitchen faucet produces no water. No pressure at all. It's as if a valve is closed... but there isn't one just for the kitchen faucet (if there is, I don't know about it... so couldn't have closed it).

And yet, every other faucet flows perfectly, and the pump doesn't keep running... so again, it's as if a valve is closed.

Have any of you come across a shutoff valves on a per-faucet basis... or any other thoughts?

Much appreciated.

Have you checked the screen in the tap?

You could have a manifold in your wet bay with individual shutoff valves, mine does.

Thank you guys... it was the screen. I don't know how it could go from seeming fine when I winterized last fall to COMPLETELY blocked now... but I unscrewed the screen and water flowed.

Feel a little silly now for making the assumption the screen HAD to be fine since it was fine in October... but there you have it.

Cheers.

The gunk in the faucet screen was a grainy mud back in October. Water flowed through it, albeit slowly. Now it is rock-hard flakes capable of totally blocking the screen.

I'd check the other faucets screens too. Odds are they have some blockage as well.
