One photo, two beautiful sights

Last Sunday I washed the roof on my Outlaw motorhome, and started applying a coat of Aerospace 303 UV protectant. I was finally able to finish it tonite and took a photo showing my freshly beautified roof and a beautiful Arizona pre-sunset sky.

Nice! That's a sunset perspective one usually doesn't see. Roof looks good too.

Looks very nice. I need to get up there and wash mine.
What kind of soap do you use??
And, did you spray the 303 all over it or is there a 303 soap??
Good job.
Thank you.

Thanks, guys.

Edge, I use the Murphy's oil soap in a bucket of water and a long handle brush that I have for washing the exterior walls. That soap is pretty mild, but it's what is recommended for the TPO roof material. Then I use the 303 in a spray bottle. Just spray it directly on the roof and all the fixtures up there (in small sections) and wipe dry with a microfiber cloth.

I wear only socks on my feet when applying the 303 to help keep the roof from getting marked up. The 303 makes the roof quite slippery. That is a challenge on the Outlaw because the front 2/3s of the roof is pitched forward. So I stay mostly in a seated position when I do this. I have no desire to go "skiing" off the front end

Murphy's was what Newmar recommended for our DSDP and it's BriteTek roof.
Present rig has a fiberglass roof so I just use a normal hard surface cleaner, let dry, spray on 303 and spread with a Dollar Tree mop. Throw the mop away when done.

Jeff, so you're saying "a coat of Aerospace 303" did all that? WoW, that really is good stuff!

Yes, the only thing I don't like about the 303 is the directions say to re-apply every 3 months. Does that mean the UV protection only lasts that long? Or is that just a ploy to get you to use more product? It is a big job, so I can only do this once or twice a year, and it has been over a year this time because I had a couple of shoulder surgeries performed. But now I have a garage to store the coach in, so the cleaning job is much easier.

I also use the 303 on the decals, but some of those are beyond help. I bet if the 303 was used on a new coach decals from day one, it would make a big difference in the decal lifespan.

Try barefoot. Gets a lot more traction[emoji41] Great job on cleaning your roof!

RE: 303, I am also thinking about using it on the graphics on our rig, I wonder if anyone would have any additional comments about the effectiveness of 303 on decals. I also have thought about using it on the vinyl portion of the dash covering, any thoughts from anyone?
