Ordered a 2015 Tiffin but Dealer wants $$$ in full first
Ordered a 2015 Tiffin over a week ago. Gave credit card for $5000.00 deposit. Got a call today they want all the money for this Tiffin now.....
paid in full before ordering it. They said if something happens to us there stuck with the motorhome. We did have a contract that we would pay June 23th. in full which we thought this motorhome was ordered last week. We have been waiting for a production number from dealer calling and calling.
They think were going to hand over money first.. Is this the norm....????

NO NO NO. RUN RUN RUN! You only pay for a motorhome AFTER you have inspected it ON THE DEALER LOT.
Who is the dealer that is pulling this one?
To me that's a RED flag that this dealer is about to go under, taking your $$ with him!

X2 find another dealer and I would contact Tiffin direct to get a recommendation as to a good dealer to work with. There is something funny going on!

Take your money back and run. Cuz I think that's what they're planning to do.
I would contact Tiffin and question if Tiffin has a new "ordering" policy.

Call your credit card company right now and tell them to cancel that payment and explain what has happened. YOU need to get them involved immediately
Tell them you signed a contract to order a new motor home with payment to be made june 23 for full amount. Dealer has not ordered the motor home and now is changing the terms of the contract. Tell them you need them to get that money refunded. DO NOT WAIT

Tell them no and if $5000 won't get your unit to their lot with a signed contract ,,, then go elsewhere

Don't walk...RUN and get a charge back on your credit card deposit. No factory makes a dealer pay in advance, unless of course they are under some type of credit watch (ie: No dealer floor plan). They obviously need your money to pay for something else....
