Ordering a new Tire Minder TPMS for coach & toad

I'm trying to decide where to order a new Tire Minder system for my 40' coach but hard to decide who to order it from.
Is there any consenses on what company is best to deal with without having any problems that won't be taken care of?
I've ordered lots of stuff from Amazon but nothing this expensive with so many possible problems or help needed installing the system.
I've looked at Amazon, the cheapest, also eTrailer, and a couple other companies that just don't give very much order or product information on their web sight.

Thank you.

I understand your talking about a different brand, but TST has always been able to answer the phone 7 days a week to answer questions or fill orders for warranty. I don't know where to order what your looking for as i have always had TST system on my rigs.

One issue I have had (not for TPMS though, I have EEZE) about ordering electronics on Amazon is that SOME times, the Amazon item is an older version than what is current. Therefore the price is cheaper.

Check out the seller item description, or ask the seller to tell you the version compared to the OEM version. I also look for Ďfree returnsí in case there is a problem.

I just ran into this on a surge protector. Went ahead and paid the higher price and ordered direct from the manufacturer.

Another caveat ordering from Amazon, I ordered some LED lights for my shop. One of them failed. It was past being able to send it back to Amazon, so I contacted the manufacturer (they state lifetime warrenty). They asked where I purchased it and made me jump through hoops to get a replacement. Had to pay shipping which of course was high but less than a new light. Won't be doing business with that brand again.

I've been with TST for over 10 years. I bought it used and have always dealt with them direct. They have been very helpful when I had any issues which were few. I upgraded to the color monitor a couple years ago. The product has been what I expected and more. That said, you will hear success stories for any brand on the market. Amazon has been great to deal with, (there is something from them by the door every other day) but for electronic items, I prefer to deal direct in case of any future problems, TST has been one of the best to work with.

Edit: Cheapest isn't always the best deal.

Tireminder itself will support you regardless if where you bought the device. If you register with them, they will also give you annual battery and sensor cap gaskets for the cost of shipping only.

I bought mine from etrailer - no problems there.

TireMinder customer service has always helped me even though I bought the system on Amazon. They don't even ask where you bought it.

Appreciate all the responses. Have been considering eTrailer from all the information they put out on their web site including names of individuals who answer questions, a very detailed description of the different tire pressure systems, etc.
Guess I just needed a little support, especially from the Forum.
Kinda shyed away from Amazon for something like this considering another much cheaper product I was considering ordering but read the description said "Packaging may differ". So what else may differ?
Thanks again.

It doesn't matter where you buy it, even from Amazon. Service and parts will be handled by the manufacturer. Chuck

I recently bought a Tireminder i10 from Amazon. I have turned in the warranty card, but have had no reason to invoke it yet.

I also bought a "damaged packaging" unit. One of the corners of the box had bee torn. Still full warranty and 20% off.
