Removing and replacing the headliner is on the list of things I want to do on our coach... But I'm afraid that will be opening a can of worms with no turning back. Do you have the cabinets out at this point?
It would appear that the ceiling liner (as well as the flooring) were in when they installed the bulk of the cabinets.
Any pics and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Right the cabinets are screwed in from the backside. Ill just be cutting it right bear the cabinets and then making another suede wrapped trim piece to go along thhe edges similar to a shoe moulding but for the headliner

plugging away at more cabinet work, I had an idea where to fit 3 fullsize bunks.
I would have to take out this entire storage area. Lots of space gone but there is still a bunch of storage in the rear master, and I can build more clever storage in the master anyway. Frankly Im more concerned with comfortable places for my kids to sleep than having a few shirts hanging.
This will allow 3 75" long bunks, and full width as well.
You can partition off the bathroom, the bunks and the bathroom all separately.

Salon is done painting. Next phase is kitchen, and phase 3 is adding those bunkbeds.
Masked everything, used rustoleum hi gloss clear enamel over the behr interior paint. Probably 5-6 coats of clear. Dried pretty hard and durable.
Ideally the goal is to get 5 matching RV style captain chairs, put the 5th one in the middle of the front row so all kid seats can be strapped in properly. And reupholser the seats and dinette in that nice light cream color the couch is done in. Real leather though, that "ultra leather" urethane stuff is garbage for durability.

plugging away at the kitchen project, started disasembling the closets.
more importantly, I was never a fan of the propane generator. Makes cross country trips annoying as you have to get off the freeway to find a separate fueling station. I think I may have solved the issue.
Will be using a big rig Auxillary Power Unit. 2 cyl 0.5L perkins diesel, runs a 120v 50amp generator, has a 60amp alternator, self contained cooling system, 23k btu AC system and 13.5k heater.
Uses a remote mounted HVAC box which houses both heat exhcahngers. I will be replacing my electric front toe kick with this HVAC box, so I will have essentially doubled my AC capacity in the rig, run the engine block heater as a load on the APU to generate the 13k btu of heat up front (in addition to rear electric heat and propane furnace).
Should fit juuuust right where my old propane generator was.
Quite excited to get this project going.

The kitchen counter never did have trim infront of the original 24" stove as it hung out past it. I had to trim back some more to fit the 30" thermador cooktop.
Since i got rid of the old bathroom vanity, I had some spare counter top. Cut up the pieces I had, epoxied it all together, and supported from the bottom.
Waiting for the color matched epoxy to come in so I can Vee groove and backfill the opening seams left behind from the built in blender and now the front trim. Should look virtually seamless once its done.
There is also an outlet on the front of the cabinet. I had to bump it out some due to adding a trim piece. I dont like the fact that liquid could roll down the edge and onto it so I added in a hidden from sight GFI circuit with the cabinet face mounted circuit added as a slave.

Drove the rig to work today. First test drive after new tie rod ends on the drag link. Steering feels better and I dont think I feel any vibrations.
Kitchen is coming together. Need some cabinet adjustments, tile backsplash, drawer pulls etc. etc.

Drove the coach 3 hrs 1 way to pick up this APU for $300 which is ab absolute steal. Looks to be in excellent condition. Ordered up new belts and filters for it. Will be rigging it up this week to test fire it. It turns over just fine by hand so nothing is seized.
decent sized generator head rated at 6000w continuous power. Generator is made by Markon.
Still need to source the HVAC box for this, which will allow me to pump 24k btu of cold air into the front of the coach.
It should fit as is, but I may have to remote mount the radiator, condenser and fan. If thats the case Ill rip out the original front dash AC condenser and mount the new rad and condenser there.
Looks like I will have to fabricate some heavy duty stand off mounts to get this on my frame rail. The front lower control arm brackets prevent me from being able to directly slap this onto the frame and be done with it.
Claims are 0.2 gallons of diesel per hour at 75% engine load (engine has 8.4kw total so can run generator at 100% and the mechanical AC same time).
My propane generator uses about 0.75-1gal per hour. Chewed through 1/4 of my 34 useable gallon tank running about 6 hrs on the trip

That's a keen find does it run R-22 or 134A . If you can make 6K watts plus 24k btu. That's about 7500 watt when AC is needed. Hope every part checks out. Maybe someone with advanced HVAC knowledge can help with design. Was it for cooler trailer ? Is that a diesel tank attached. Standing by...

You are right, totally didn't realize the load running both simultaneously.
These are made to provide AC/Heat, keep chassis batteries charged, and 120v power to a truck cab without idling the big diesel.
Runs 134a.
Looks like the engine and AC is sized to only supply a small 120v load to the cab. Sounds like this may have to get a little turbacharger on it to keep up with my demands.
Has no tank attached, that big square unit at the back near the muffler is where the generator head lives, serp belt driven.
