Trying to figure out how to mount my tv on my 2007 Damon Daybreak where the storage door flips up. This is the plate that was on here when I bought it but cant find the mount that goes on my tv. Does anybody have any idea? view image

First... you mentioned in the title, on storage door... I truly hope your not trying to mount the TV on the storage door, but a panel inside the storage compartment... I've never seen a storage door suitable for that kind of weight except for maybe a commercial bus chassis where the doors are designed to be opened and closed many times a day and take a beating...

I think that I'd just start from scratch and buy a good one... I have mine on a wall mount but also put a stand under the tv with a cushion when we're running down the road... I've never personally felt that the quality of the tv mount was designed for a tv that can bounce with each dip/hole/rut in the road

Have you gone to the Omnimount website to see if they have the mount for the tv that matches the mounting plate on the door?

Not sure if you wanting a permanent outside mounting TV, but one way to mount a TV on the exterior temporarily is to use suction cups. Harbor Freight sells a 150lb rated dual suction cup devise for around $8.00 each. Use two of them and hang the tv in some way off of them.

FWIW, its also a great way to mount a flag pole to your rig without having to use the ladder. Easy up easy down and will hold tight in high winds also. Just spray the suction cups with a bit of water first and make sure the side of the coach is clean. Works fantastically.
